Connie Jape

Connie Jape brings more than 45 years of sales and marketing experience across the retail and hospitality sectors and has been part of the Jape Group retail operations since 1980. She has played an important role in the growth of Jape Group’s businesses in the Northern Territory and Timor Leste.

As Executive Director, Connie contributes extensive expertise in retail strategy, customer engagement and business development. She has been closely involved in the growth of Jape Furnishing Superstore and Forty Winks Darwin and previously operated her own Gold Plate award winning restaurant for 10 years.

A long standing contributor to the Northern Territory business community, Connie has served on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce NT, Australia Day Council and Top End Health Service. She has been a Justice of the Peace since 2011 and President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce NT since 2021.
